Does mir:ror work without an Internet connection?
Internet is needed: To work correctly, mir:ror must be plugged in the USB port of an Internet-connected computer.
Up to which distance is an RFID chip detected by mir:ror?
Mir:ror can detect objects within a range of a few inches. For a good
detection of your objects by mir:ror, show them in the front part of
the mir:ror (opposite to the USB cable).
What kind of chips can mir:ror recognize?
Mir:ror is built to recognize ztamp:s and nano:ztags by Violet.
However, any object bearing a ISO 14443 A or B RFID chip (which is the case for some transportation cards, keychains, hotel keys, ...) can be read by mir:ror.
